100% of proceeds from this item will go to benefit Rooted in Love, Inc.

When I originally designed this, I wasn’t sure if a release felt right. I knew I wasn’t comfortable profiting off of such an event, but at the same time, it was important to me to share a design with a strong, pointed message. Love is powerful, but racism will not be tolerated.

“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.”

After a positive response and speaking with some folks close to the tragedy, I am so proud to be releasing this design with 100% of the proceeds going to Rooted in Love, Inc, a black-led non-profit in Buffalo. Every cent above cost will stay right here and help provide free access to fresh produce and hygiene products to those in need.

The ten poppies in the design are in remembrance of the 10 lives cut tragically short on May 14, 2022. May they rest in peace, and may we never forget how profoundly unchecked racism can affect our communities.
